Beckhams Threaten Legal Action Over Report Claiming David Cheated With Prostitute

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- David and Victoria Beckham are fighting back against a report from In Touch Weekly claiming Becks allegedly cheated on his wife "Posh" with a prostitute, Access Hollywood has confirmed.
In the mag's newest issue, dated October 4, In Touch interviewed an alleged $10,000 per night prostitute who claimed the soccer superstar slept with her multiple times during 2007 - a claim which the couple's rep, Cheryl Maisel, vehemently denies.
''The allegations that have been made are completely untrue and totally ridiculous as the magazine was clearly told before publication," Maisel said Wednesday, in a statement to Access Hollwood. "Sadly we live in a world where a magazine can print lies and believe they can get away with it.We are taking legal action against the magazine."
However, a rep for In Touch said they stood by their story.
"In Touch would like to reaffirm that we stand by our reporting and have confidence in the credibility of the multiple sources we quote in the story," the mag rep told Access on Wednesday.
This is not the first time the former Spice Girl's handsome husband has been accused of adultery. In 2004, Rebecca Loos, Becks' former personal assistant, claimed to have carried out a four-month affair with the famous footballer during his stay in Madrid - a story which the couple denied.
The cheating scandal comes just days after anotherr alleged straying celebrity story erupted.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Ashton Kutcher and his wife, Demi Moore, are battling back against Star Magazine stories claiming that the "Killers" star was caught stepping out on his wife with two different women.
"Star Magazine continuously publishes lies about Ashton Kutcher and many other celebrities," Ashton Kutcher's attorney, Marty Singer told Access last week. "This is not the first, nor will it be the last time they engage in reckless conduct."
Star said it will publish text messages between Kutcher and a woman the mag claimed he had a sexual relationship with in this week's issue, due on newsstands this Friday. A rep for Ashton was unavailable for comment on the upcoming story when contacted by Access on Wednesday.
