Meaning of the "Almost Famous" Hook

What do you make of the line "You dream of trading places, I have been changing faces"? Is it meant to mean something along the lines of "you want to do this but you don't act upon it, whereas I have been"? The line that follows, "You can not fill these shoes, there is too much to lose" would support that interpretation. Any thoughts?

August 22 2013 - from Berlin to Paris, 400€ spent just for Eminem. IT WAS WORTH EVERY SINGLE CENT!
