i'm actually listening to relapse right now for the first time since last june, it's a lot better than i remember it being, sounds like Em made the whole album in a few weeks while been in some kinda trance, plus the ''accent'' is refreshing after listening to Em's shouting delivery on Recovery - never thought i'd say that!

A lot of the times that people say Eminem's using an accent, he's just over enunciating words. Asher Roth did that a lot, but it's not like people say "Asher, stop spitting with an accent!". People just weren't used to hearing Eminem like that. I liked the accents personally.

Some of the songs it makes em sound better, Bagpipes from Baghdad being a prime example. I just wish he hadn't used that style for his comeback, honestly people didn't want to hear that shit after he's just spent 4 years out of music. Think we all expected better. No it doesn't. His voice is just more upbeat (not an accent)...withdrawn from the dark images he's portraying. He's analyzing the events he's describing without from being "in them", which is the difference between that and GTC I'd say. The exception being the emotional chorus.
