Sajjad - Take Me Away

Postby Xray » Oct 21st, '10, 15:08

New track as promised. Did this today on a Nu Jerzey Devil beat.
For my mixtape yes. The final product will be on the tape. :y:

Dear life, if you kill me
Then I'll meet you at the other side
    Catch you on the rebound

It seems like I've been gone for a while
When things change the walls chain your smile
In a aisle of vile, pile of people on tiles
A trial to test you, I dial for rescue
No one to arrest you, seems like it's silent
till it's night and violent, waiting to rest you
Wake up to residue, everybodies dead but you
    Watch they coming for you
I told god if this mallard don't sord
Then a ballad of odd will valid this sword
I feel I can die but these vines are stuck
Life in the tub, short as fuck if luck could tuck
I wouldn't have to climb so much, tired of us
This fake love so sus it just smiles at us
It's wild but tough, mild enough
Sealed and shut, afraid to touch

I sit each day with a matter on display
Scattered to the blade with a battle on play
I feel washed up when I see her rinse away
But it's so fucked up, when I see her mince fate
In the mud like clay, and I'm stuck all day
Flood if I May, but this June might hate
Blood imitates but when it rains it fades
Earth limits quake when I drain in your place
I feel so slow so it's right that I'm caged
Going for the cheddar like a rat in a maze
What I flow walls like a plaque from VMAs
Water falls and pours on black winter haze
Tell me to my face, you need more space
Cause we can go to space if you wanna relocate
This dream is so great that I don't wanna wake up
Renovate the scrapes but we can never break...us

All feed appreciated. Hope you like the mixing. :y:

Damn...that shit was fuckin awesome :worship:

Delivery-fucking sick
Flow-Pretty fuckin flawless, loved how you switched it at times from the shitload of multies to the none multi parts, really made every line stand out.
Rhymes-well, do I really need to feed this haha goddamn :y:
Voice-Perfect on this, everything was real clear, and the effect at parts like in the intro worked well, not overdone, just used perfectly

great beat choice, great mixing, quality was very clear.

Replayable track man, definitely sick, great job :worship:

Sick track man, the quality is amazing on it! Lyrics were great as usual, flow was grimy, and your delivery was pretty smooth. Voice sounds the same as some of your previous tracks but I can't really complain about that because it still sounds good and I do the exact same thing, haha.

Not your best track (obviously) but nonetheless a nice addition to the ever-growing catalog!
Keep it up bro, you're one of the VERY FEW artists on this site that actually has something going for them!

As a critic I can't just post ''incredible'', so, here is my feed: both verses were strong, however, each last bar ended in a somewhat vague manner. You built up the climax with every line and then you, as a listener, get disappointed with the last line. It doesn't flow into the piano melody of the beat, like, there is an apartheid of verse and ''hook space''. Perhaps my explanation sounds vague, but, that's the way I see it. Apart of that, it's a great song.

Even unfinished it sounds amazing. Flow and delivery are perfect, as always, and I love that lowered-pitch mixing, I think it fits well.

Great beat choice too.

Keep it up, can't wait to listen to the tape!

I hate how you post unfinished songs...I want to whole thing. :smoking:

The beat was alright. Pretty simplistic in my opinion, but I guess it worked for this song. Like people have said the flow was a great, especially in the second verse. When I read the lyrics they sound good, but I had a hard time following them in the song without reading along.

Excited for the tape. :y:

Yo Sajjad.

Honestly, I want a chorus. Something like your song called "Breathing". Without chorus, I can't feel it as a song man. But the delievery is dope man. Fucking cool effects too. :y:

Your flow and delivery is awesome. A chorus would make the song a lot better though.Still sounds great without one. I guess your leaving it off until you release the tape? I wanna know where you recorded too? :)

i loved it but sometime switch up the multi to only halfway u kno? it makes the flow even better and if you could improve your flow with it being where it is, damn i wouldnt know how to explain it.

Either way i love the lyrics.
your flow was wierd at times but it was consistant through the song as you mixed it up. so id give the overall a 8/10 because i know even usaine bolt can run faster.
