because he promised to put out 2 albums last year but can't fulfill it,t hat why they go with refill to tide fans over till recovery. besides he said it's the best tracks from the original relapse 2 that got scrapped but still want people to hear. Plus it could be Interscope idea too. FYI it's not like Refill sold a lot or something, and artists only get 10% royalties from albums sales, they barely make money from selling cds, rich artists all make money from tours & endorsements

he did say that or definitely something similar to that, Taking My ball I believe was intended for relapse 2 from the start, not hard to see that judging from the voice & lyric, Forever was obviously just added to be a single since there's no other single from refill

I don't think Em did it for the money. He obviously has enough of that. Maybe he felt bad that he rejected her once and didn't want to turn her down again. You can make the argument that he turned down other famous musicians in the past, but everyone's well aware that this is a new Eminem.

I don't necessarily hate the song, but it feels like he just phoned in his verses. Not a bad beat, and Em has a pretty decent flow. It could've been so much more if they were in the studio together. I'm assuming they weren't -- if I'm wrong, fill me in.

Pink & Rihanna was definitely partly used to gain his the commercial appeal back, but that was before Recovery. Now is different, after Recovery he's back winning every awards possible, top every lists possible & is relevant more than ever, he doesn't need to collab with minaj for the relevant reason, in fact the collab got the attention because of his name. Personally I think he just did it out of pity cuz he already rejected her one time and he's a nice person .

He didn't do it out of pity... that's nonsense.

He did it for the same reason he did all those Wayne collaborations... to show that he's just as good at punch lines as these Young Money rappers (even though he sucks at punch lines).

but usually when ppl got turned down they didn't send him the beat for the second time like her, it's usually awkward to turn down someone many times, again guessing but it's still a possible reason and I don't think it's nonsense. Of course there's zillion possible reasons for why he did this & that but at the end of the day we never know what's truth.

Eminem will be featured on THREE albums coming really soon (Loud nov 16., Pink friday Nov 22 & HFM2 Nov 22), so Nicky wanted a head start cause she's a bitch.
