Relapse or King Mathers?

Providing King Mathers was released, what do you think would have gotten the better reception from fans and critics alike?

We've already heard a few songs from that era which could have been on the album. These include the Relapse bonus tracks. I think there's a few more I'm missing, but I'm not 100% on the dates so I won't bother listing them.

Personally, from the material I've heard from the album, I think I'd have preferred King Mathers over Relapse. Yes Relapse has a few good songs, but most of them I don't really listen to at all anymore.

I'm sorry guys but King Mathers would have been horrible. Think about it, he's already released the three best songs from it, Beautiful, My Darling and Careful What You Wish For, it would have only gotten worse from there.

I wanna hear King Mathers so bad. If it sucks, then it sucks, but I just want to know.

Same here. He should just release it, or at least throw some of the best songs out there on a mixtape. I know it'll probably never happen, but it would be awesome.

It seems very emotionally driven given the few songs we have from it.

Lyrically, I think it would be decent. Much better than the Encore era.

Those are, including a few other songs, my favourite off Relapse. Give me any off those over 1/2 off Relapse. I know lyrically they're not fantastic but in my opinion, they are fantastic songs.

I don't think My Darling was from the King Mathers album because of the hair dye line. The album probably would've been bad though.
