Going Through Changes

I absolutely love this song.

It's my favourite off Recovery and one of my favourite tracks he's ever made. It's filled with emotion and the rhyming on there is fantastic. The sample for the hook is on point, I can't really fault this song. Second and fourth verses are my favourite.

I'm curious to find out what other people think of this song.

One of my fav too, such an emotional song and he sounds laid back in it,no yelling or forced rhymes. The 3rd (I sit alone in my home theater watching the same damn dvd of the first tour/The last tour, he was still alive and it hurts) and the 4th (Hailie this one is just for you, Whitney and Alaina too/I still love your mother, that will never change) verses are the best for me.

I love that song, gives me chills everytime I hear it. 3rd verse is my fav, particularly the the last few lines.

Great song. Second favourite on Recovery behind You're Never Over.

2nd verse is my favourite on the album. 4th is better technically but I love the honesty in the 2nd.

They say Proof just flipped out, homie just swift out and bust,
Nah, it ain't like Doody to do that,
He wouldn't fuckin' shoot at, no-body, he fights first,
But dwellin' on it only makes the night worse,
Now I'm poppin Vic's, perks and Methadone pills.
Yeah Em, tight verse, you killed it,
Fuckin' drug dealers hang around me like "yes man",
And they gon' do whatever I says when, I says it,
It's in their best interest to protect their investment.
And I just lost my fuckin' best friend, so fuck it, I guess then...

is amazing.

Great song. Almost uncomfortable to listen to because he's so on point and honest about how he screwed up his life. The bits about Proof, Kim and his daughters are so sad.

agreed! and thank god i found someone else then me who thinks you're never over is amazing

Yeah, I think You're Never Over is a fantastic song. Two of my favourites.

Reading over that section of the verse, I noticed a few multis that I didn't really notice previously. They're nothing amazing, but at least they're there. Great verse.

The song is simply amazing. Fell in love with it after first listen. The fourth verse is my favorite. :worship:

This is one song he needs to do live, but I don't think he will, not anytime soon at least. It's probably too personal for him to perform with Kim and the girls being mentioned. :(
