The version with Royce, yes.
I'm jus' sayin'.

Are people still tryna kid themselves that Royce's version is better? P-lease - Jay's verses shit over Royces a million times over.

"Hey look! I like Royce's verses more than Jay's! Hey check me out! I like the more underground artist than the really mainstream one! Guys, LOOK! I'm acting knowledgable about rap music, check it, yo!"

On topic - THE beat rap collaboration ever. Four genius verses, Em is just on another level, though.

Hahaha Couldnt agree more. Jay's verse has some brilliant lines and wit. But sadly as good as Jay is he has the "love to hate" Image.

Yeah, I've never known an artist that, to me, is so overrated by some and so underrated by others.

He's EASILY one of the best mainstream rappers ever, based on his prime alone. Easily. He had such clever lyricism - but probably went over a lot of people's heads. Blueprint is such an incredible album - one of the cleverest hip hop records ever made.

I hate how he's got so popular in the UK now that he's crap though. Does my head in.

Well, I was reading an interview with Twista a few days back, and the interviewer said to Twista about the track "The Heat"; "you "Renegaded" Raekwon on that joint!"

I've seen it been used a few other forums too, kinda like how Ether became a slang term after the Jay-Nas beef
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

couldn't agree more. personally i think Jay gets the "hate" because he is sometimes way overrated by the mainstream, MTV etc...which makes people angry and leading to hate and underappreciate Jay-Z.
