That term can only be logically applicable if you adhere to at least those four as those are the main issues at present in Stan and from which the definition sprung. You can't claim somebody is that just because they like his music or talk about his music.

People talk about artists they like all the time, as I do about other artists, comedians, writers, directors etc. it's fucking discussion for Christ's sake. You only think it makes you a Stan because it's in the context of Eminem. It's totally normal.

My logic was that unless you resemble the KEY features which separate FAN from STAN, which are the point of the entire song, then you are not a Stan.

Eminem wasn't saying anybody who knows all of his songs is a Stan, or that anybody who fucking likes him is a Stan lmao. I could just as easily say "using your logic anybody who loves Eminem's music is a Stan"? Both extremes are retarded.

Point is, unless you follow and love Eminem for reasons other than his art. You can't be a Stan. You can't claim somebody is a Stan just because they like his music.
