Because he spends ages writing and revising his verses to begin with. So it's not like it was a surprise to him as it came out of his mouth, he knew what he was going to say to a tee lmao. So that was probably for effect or something.

It's very possible that what you heard was the first time he said that verse out loud and even more possible that he wrote that verse in a couple minutes in the studio as a test. How many other songs do you hear Eminem say something like "fucking stupid" as soon as he finishes? This wasn't a diss track. There is no reason why he would say "fucking stupid" for effect. He said "fucking stupid" because of the fucking stupid line "I don't subscribe to the news or the free press but homie I get the PAPER!". It was stupid and when he said it out loud he realized how bad it sounded, along with the rest of his verse. He spends ages revising her verses, just like you said, this was his first shot at it, and he hated it. It shouldn't have been released.

As you will probably have seen, Em practises saying his verses outloud to himself also. Like, under his breath - He works out complex flows and lyrics WELL before he spits it in the booth.

There is no way he said it out loud and didn't know how it would sound like lmao.

If he actually went into the booth with it to commit it a recording, I think it's highly unlikely he didn't know what he was saying or how it would sound.

Much like on "Clearning Out My Closet" when he says like... "Where's my snare?" etc. He doest shit like that all the time for effect and realism on the track. He may very well of been acknowledging the line as stupid but as in the past, he's spit lines full force then given an opinion on what he's just said - Lyrically lmao. He always plays with perceptions like that.

But that was recorded and mixed, if he didn't want to say that, it wouldn't of gotten to that stage it's not like that was a recording of him practising it. That was a mixed, committed verse.

No, eminem doesn't fit to the song.
I liked the flow but the content was eh, young money style. "amelia earheart" line was so .. not Eminemish.
But it's an unreleased verse so, we can't count it as a real feature, we don't know what happened. Maybe Eminem said to Lloyd his verse wasn't good enough, maybe Banks didn't like it and he cut it.
So..

Erm, no I dont. Delivery, flow, boring lyrics, stupid punchlines AS WELL AS the fucking fart references are why I didn't like (not hate) the verse

Devil'sAdvocate wrote:That punchline u mentioned isnt as embaressing as you make it out to be,.

Erm, yes it is. Cliched gangster rap line about how he gets money = embarrasing. Adding a stupid lead up line to make a cheesy punchline = embarrasing.

Devil'sAdvocate wrote:LTWYL 2 had a great Em verse, and your critcizing it because of the shouting, and Em wont make something like fack

I said it was good (it's not great). When did I criticise it for shouting? Are you even responding to the right quote? It had nothing that made me wanna re-listen (mainly because it adds nothing to the original song and is pretty cheesy) - whats that got to do with shouting?

Again, I never said he'd make something like Fack, it was just an example responding to the comments saying we shouldnt bitch about this song.

Well, every other rapper in the business including Nas have at some time made a punchline/joke/line about money, and I'm pretty sure they've all made "gangsta rap lines". So why can't Em do it? ONCE.

I think that you're nit-picking a bit too much. Yes, it is okay for you to not like the song, it's your opinion. But, a few "bad" lines or punches don't make a song horrible. And I think the flow is unique and fanstastic. Delivery is amazing...I don't get the complaints.

This verse isn't really worth bitching about. We have definetly heard better from em, but this isn't terrible. Although we weren't even supposed to hear it, and it's pretty easy to tell em didn't like this verse, considering how he says it's "fucking stupid" when he finished. Which is probably why this isn't the final version.
