Some people would like it but I don’t think it’s a good idea. Fans would expect them to be controversial imo. The thing is his controversy goes beyond the music and I don’t think Gaga’s fans would be able to wear it. They have their panties in a bunch every time he says the word fag.
Gaga's fans celebrate her for being controversial but she's mainly about the stage controversy. When Eminem is in the zone, he doesn’t care. He gets personal, cruel and self-destructive. It’s the rawest form of art that steams from the inside. Imagine he'd be asked to write a controversial song so he’d decide to kick the hell out of it and wrote something spicy on the level of Kim or The Warning. Do you think she would have the guts to be part of it?
I don’t think so. I think he would try to moderate his emotions writing something controversial for the sake of being controversial. You know, like Gaga’s Alejadro video. I don’t want him to cut it down. I like the songs where he’s like a loose cannon.
Eminem is not afraid to express love in his music but at the same time he has no problem to express anger or hate while being absolutely concrete. You don’t see Gaga showing her real anger concretely. She claims she wants to spread love and doesn’t want to promote violence but art isn’t always about promotion. The real art is about expressing your true feelings. I don’t believe everything in her life is always rosy. Once you start to speculate whether the content of your music isn’t too questionable for the others, you really aren’t controversial. You just pretend to be.
I'd rather see him working with a cheesy pop star that doesn't try to hide the fact she's a cheesy pop star. They can record a cheesy but catchy pop song. At least it's honest.
