Lol, not a chance.

I'm not saying this is gonna be bad, but topping SFTM is just... impossible, I think.

I know lmao, and that's what I consider the biggest song from the past 10 years.

If it's half as good as SFTM I'll be one happy motherfucker.

People are getting confused.

There is a huge difference between "biggest" song and "bestest" song.

A song being "big" isn't ANY indication of it's quality.

Love The Way You Lie is 100x bigger than 'Renegade' and I'm sure the vast majority of you will agree that Renegade shits all over LTWYL.

The quote was:
“When it comes out, it will probably be the biggest song in the last 10 years,” he boldly proclaimed.

It might be a hit....but it could still be shit.

I guess it will be a good concept song, like .. Guily conscience or something like that, if it's Dre + Em.
If it's only Em, and Dre that produced the beat with Alex Da Kid's help, then.. i have no fucking idea.

I'm sure it won't top what Ltwyl did, with radioplay and shit.

Did anyone see this? I haven't seen it posted, even in this thread!

He then goes on to say "It'll probably flop...who knows"

Offers a different perspective, in video format:
(he also confirms it WILL be coming before Christmas)

Damn, that's awesome to hear. Hopefully it's a different flow/style than the last verses (RR, LWYLP2, Celebrity)

Not saying that its better tho.

Nah it ain't close.

"Lose Yourself" holds the record as the longest running hip-hop #1 ever. Spent 12 weeks at Billboard #1, topped 24 other charts and is regularly cited as one of the best songs of the past decade + It also won an Oscar.

"Love the Way You Lie", was just a hit. A big hit yeah, but it's not historical.

for real? who says that lmao

He was joking.

He's British, we're more self-deprecating and downbeat / sarcastic a lot. After we feel like we're getting too much credit we make a dark remark lmao.

Embase, it is pretty close in fact ltwyl spent 7 weeks at number one, yea ly spent 12 weeks but it dropped dramatically after that and was out of the hot 100 within a few weeks, ltwyl is still goin strong in it's 20th week. Oh and ltwyl topped over thirty countries

Actually it was top of 23 charts.

Regardless, I didn't mean just the amount of weeks at #1 weren't close - I mean the impact isn't close. They're not comparable in legacy.

A song can be a gigantic #1 hit but not much remembered as an important song thereafter. LTWYL doesn't approach the quality of LY and it hasn't had the same impact or respect. it was / is a very big hit but it's not close to LY's impact and legacy at all.
