Majority of Recovery is FAR from 'bad form'.
"Cold Wind Blows", "Going Through Changes", "Seduction", "25 to Life", "So Bad", "Almost Famous" - Those songs and others are fantastic.
Yes he's not topping what he's done, but they're a whole lot better than bad.
If you're referring to the Nicki Minaj feature and "Celebrity" verse, I mean... This is the thing, with Eminem people expect every single thing he does to be mind-blowing genius OR it = crap lmao.
He's done a few bad features, who gives a shit, they're features. He's clearly trying to fit-in and botching it slightly. But technically speaking he's focused on rhyming and flowing again and he's not bad at it just because he's coming out with some shitty punchlines.
Lmao, he does a batch of great material on Recovery and that just gets totally forgotten for two feature verses? Why do they suddenly outweigh all of that haha. People praise Jay as still having it or 'killing a track' if he says 1 or 2 good lines out of 50. Then say Em has lost it if he spits 1 or 2 bad lines out of 50 lmao.
His solo material is all that matters.
no, recovery was great !
yes i was talking about the fetaures, and no recovery is definitley not forgotten, well not by me i still listen to it. I just feel with eminem - were not expecting miracles or great tracks all the time; i just feel that he should be building on recovery, and its success with better tracks/verses.
He is going downhill, not heading back to his best and when you mix all those together, it doesnt bode well for future projects, you get what i mean ?
