Its where u dont spit an entire verse at once....u spit however many bars and then punch in...

Yeah a punch in is where you record a couple lines then stop and then record a couple other songs and put them together. Even if he used to do it you couldn't tell but he sounds sloppy with it now. They stand out and it doesn't sound good.
