I really enjoyed it and it will probably be on repeat for a few weeks - but I just don't think he's steppped out of his comfort zone. It's his second album and, although it's really good, there's nothing that radical on it - all the songs you could imagine being on Gazing At The Moonlight, in terms of content and rhymes.
Saying that, it did have it's fair share of great moments. Pillow Man is probably my favourite song. I also really like Baby's Daddy (hilarious sequel to Who Do You Think), I'm Not Crazy, I Am Raw and You Are My Enemy.
Some of the lines on Baby's Daddy seemed to be heavily influenced from Em's Drips - I think there were some homages in there
I was dissapointed that he had to go all 'conspiracy theorist' on us though. Nocturnal Rainbow was a great song until he prediactably started mentioning Illuminati and Obama - this seems to be a fad in hip-hop at the moment that everyone is copying. I blame Immortal Technique.
I'm gunna listen to it a few more times and leave more detailed feedback.
