People hated the Eminem Show. His core fanbase hated an album that is now widely regarded as a classic because of his content change...Some may not like Recovery, but it will be looked at as the Eminem Show was--an album that can't be objectively viewed as it truely is until the passage of time cements it's place in history. We're too close to it for now, too critical. In time, hindsight's 20/20 vision will allow some of us to appreciate it for what it is. Trust me, I was old enough to understand the situation better than some here.

People hated on The Eminem Show when it came out back in '02??? BUT HOW! That album was perfect lmfao. Just him being more mature and not bringing out the chainsaws and shit.
