Stans Would Shit Their Pants

Postby SatansAngel » Dec 1st, '10, 06:15

If the same thing that happened to Tupac back in 95-56 happened to Em.

Em going to jail and having a #1 album at the same time. Then releasing a double album in early 96 that was a huge hit and a classic and then a few months later gets shot to death then 7 months later after being shot have ANOTHER classic album released in the same year. Then after all of this, his label continues to release a posthumous albums compiled of his unreleased material.

Eminem was a HUGE wannabe Tupac back in 99-02, none of you can deny it. Same formula, different method.

BEFORE THE STANS ATTACK ME. I KNOW EMINEM IS MORE TALENTED AS A RAPPER BUT YOU CAN'T DENY THAT TUPAC WAS A MUCH SMARTER AND ARTISTIC INDIVIDUAL.

Also, I love when people think that calling us Stans hurts our precious little feelings. Im a very proud Stan. Also, you think you are cool for being on a mainstream artists fan-site and you dont worship him.

I don't have anything against Stans. I have love for any human being with a good heart. I don't judge groups of people, I look at character and individuality. I try to see the good in every person as an INDIVIDUAL not as a representative for a group.

To me a Stan is a mindless drone that eats up anything Eminem releases.

Now keep in mind I have no problem with that if you GENUINELY like it and aren't forcing yourself to like it.

And just for the record I have nothing against Eminem either. I just have a lot of disagreements with some of the shit he does, I don't like how he has a rather one-dimensional few on the world and doesn't expand on some of his topics in an introspective way like Tupac does.

Technically Eminem is the better rapper, but when it comes to artistic value, passion Tupac definitely takes the cake.

Em is definitely a close 2 in my book. His first 3 albums really give 2Pac's classic studio albums a run for his money.

thread is dumb as hell, really pointless too.

As the OP, I'll try my very hardest to make sure the arguments don't get out of line sir. I'll try to keep this as civil as I can. That's why I said all childish responses shall be ignored.

And thanks for giving me your time on typing out your opinion about how you feel for my thread. I appreciate it man.

Thread title has been changed from "You Stans Would Shit Your Pants" to "Stans Would Shit Their Pants" because I feel it's more appropriate to the nature of this thread, I'm not trying to offend or generalize anyone. I'm just an honest person that likes to be straight forward.

Stans do exist.

Please take time to understand what I'm really about before you judge me and call me a "dick rider" or whatever shit you want to call me.

I could be a loyal friend you gain if you gave me a chance and hear me out on my views.

:y:

Tupac was more artistic, he didn't make albums with fart sounds and bullshit accents

What's your point?
August 22 2013 - from Berlin to Paris, 400€ spent just for Eminem. IT WAS WORTH EVERY SINGLE CENT!

***** wrote:he also died at his prime, and wasnt an addict

If you don't mind me asking, what's your definition of an "addict"?

In your mind what is the significance behind that word and what determines whether or not someone is an addict?

First of all how do you know for sure if Tupac was an addict or not?

If he had an addiction and regardless of whatever it was or how strong it might have been, you're trying to say that Tupac had it easier than Eminem, which is not true.

They've both been through struggles but you can't say either of their struggles was harder than the other unless you've actually lived their lives.

And as far as Pac dying in his prime, maybe you're right.

Nobody knows where he would be at now with his career and life if he was still alive. Would he be praised anywhere near as much as he was back in the 90's?
Most likely not.

What really annoys me about hip-hop is that age is considered to be such an important factor almost like it's sports when a guy gets too old to play because he's lost his skills due to his physical limitations that come as you get older.

You don't lose your skills as a rapper when you get older. If you look at someone like Jay-Z or Eminem, their earlier releases are widely regarded as their greatest. Where as someone like Tupac, his albums only kept getting better.

After Jay and Em started to slowly alternate their styles to adapt to their environments, the core fan base wasn't pleased with this. Em and Jay don't give a fuck anymore. With Em, it's just who he collabs with to keep his name out there and with Jay, it's anything he can do to bring some money.

When something is played for too long in hip-hop and reaches too much success, it's one to the next one.

Jay-Z embodies this so much in his recent music, it makes me sick. I salute him for knowing how to be getting his money but that's all he's making music for now and he's openly admitting it.

Anyways, that's a whole different story. Let me get back to the topic of Em and Pac.

Even though I've said this multiple times, I'll say it again.
Eminem is without a doubt, the better rapper.

But Tupac was so much more than just a dope MC.
He was an activist, a poet, a fighter, a voice for a nation that has seen poverty and struggle, and most of all he was an artist.

I understand this might be a debate type thread, but still. Why would you flat out say eminem was a pac wannabe on an eminem forum unless u just like to argue. They're completley different artists man.But oh well its just music taste at the end of the day man. I dont really care for pacs music, but i respect him and what hes done for rappers. :y:

This 'SatansAngel' guy has the same posting style and characteristics of an old member called 'Da.Relapse.LP' - an antagonist, who thrives on attempting to create negative vibes about either Eminem or his fans, but does it in a smart way, as not to get banned or just labelled as a troll.

I'm not an Admin so I don't know if it is the same guy as I can't check the IP Address and other methods like that, but I've always thought it could be.
