"Best" is very subjective, but my favorites are:
Hip-Hop=Eminem
R&B= Don't listen enough to have an opinion
Pop=Justin Timberlake/John Mayer
Rock and Roll=The Beatles
Rock=Led Zeppelin
Hard Rock=Black Sabbath
Heavy Metal=Don't listen much, but Underoath?
Jazz=Don't listen enough to have an opinion
Country music=Johnny Cash

These genres are too vague BTW, especially rock and roll through heavy metal...

Jazz is very very cool. It's my favourite after hip hop.

You guys should check it out. It definitely has had a massive influence on hip hop and your favourite artists.

I recommend starting with billie holiday and jonny coltrane.
