You think all people in the world are the same? Some people who lost a husband/wife/brother/sister och whatever can be all upp and running in a couple months, some people can be depressed til the day they die. We all know Em is a sensitive guy. You can't say "well, I lost TWO friends and I got out of my depression in ONE year". Your family member isn't Eminem.

You keep saying that he should man and quit being a baby, well he gets his emotions out through song and it definitely helps. He needs a place to spill his emotions and music happens to be that. Just because you have a nice life where nothing happens to you and you think you would know how to deal with it if it happened to you, don't judge others for how they deal with it.

Marshall has established a colossal character in the music industry, which has always been a shopped image to some degree (fag hating, relentless asshole, never second-guessing what hes done, no regrets no remorse). Thats not him, but its sick as fuck to listen to cuz no one else does it, and no one else does it better.

If you listen to Infinte, you dont hear him with as much hatred, or even cursing. That shit wasn't working so when he got signed to dre, who knew the potential Marshall had, he molded him into Slim Shady and Eminem in order to sell records. I think that put MARSHALL through a lot of shit he wasnt ready for, changed his personality and drove away some of the people that were close to him. when he needed those that were close to him, they were already gone, and he was only surrounded by those who benefited from his success (including but not limited to drug dealers). That may have triggered his deep depression, and an epiphany of "what the fuck am i doing w my life?". For all i know he may not even spend time with Hailie, but he can create a character that does in his music. Nevertheless, the image he has created is inspirational to those that are struggling, so I dont see any harm in his success. He gives me practically 90% of the music i play in my car, and i give him my 15 dollars, and $80 once every 7 years when he comes to town.

bottom line though, hes an entertainer and hes the absolute best at what he does. as for the bi-polar thing, it would be funny if thats the reason why he has both slim shady and eminem. We will never know the truth, but who cares. All we know for sure is that his music is thaa shiiiiitttttttttt......and nobody does it better.

So basicly what the OP is saying...if you got money you shouldn't be depressed?
I wish that was true, but "money doesn't buy you happines".Everyone has their own way dealing with their problems, and their own period of time to grieve, seems that for Em it's easier to express himself thru music.
This thread is another way of saying you don't like Recovery :facepalm

I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.
