This is the worst thread I have seen on my time on TRshady. This should be ban-worthy, dumb shit like this cannot be tolerated. I hope you die....a bitter death and you go to hell and then Proof comes down from heaven and kicks your ass.

Thats not him, but its sick as fuck to listen to cuz no one else does it, and no one else does it better.

If you listen to Infinte, you dont hear him with as much hatred, or even cursing. That shit wasn't working so when he got signed to dre, who knew the potential Marshall had, he molded him into Slim Shady and Eminem in order to sell records. I think that put MARSHALL through a lot of shit he wasnt ready for, changed his personality and drove away some of the people that were close to him. when he needed those that were close to him, they were already gone, and he was only surrounded by those who benefited from his success (including but not limited to drug dealers). That may have triggered his deep depression, and an epiphany of "what the fuck am i doing w my life?". For all i know he may not even spend time with Hailie, but he can create a character that does in his music. Nevertheless, the image he has created is inspirational to those that are struggling, so I dont see any harm in his success. He gives me practically 90% of the music i play in my car, and i give him my 15 dollars, and $80 once every 7 years when he comes to town.

bottom line though, hes an entertainer and hes the absolute best at what he does. as for the bi-polar thing, it would be funny if thats the reason why he has both slim shady and eminem. We will never know the truth, but who cares. All we know for sure is that his music is thaa shiiiiitttttttttt......and nobody does it better.

I agree with you that his image was definately shopped to a degree :y:

"It's silly, I'm really a sheep in wolf's clothing
Who only reacts when he gets pushed, don't be fooled
The press blows up this whole thing, it's stupid
They don't know cause they don't see that I'm wounded
All they did was ballooned it
I'm sick of talkin' 'bout these tattoos cartoon did"

but, some other pts you made were just stupid :shakehead:
My songs can make you cry, take you by surprise
And at the same time, make you dry your eyes with the same rhyme
See what you're seeing is a genius at work
Which to me isn't work, so it's easy to misinterpret it at first,
Cuz when i speak, it's tongue in cheek
I'd yank my fuckin teeth before id ever bite my tongue
I'd slice my gums, get struck by fuckin' lightning twice at once

This.

Who the fuck is the OP to tell Eminem how he should feel?

Shut the fuck up, idiot. All you even know of Eminem's life is that he's rich. As we all know, lots of money = lots of happiness.

Everyone is depressed sometimes. Everyone. The reason we keep hearing about Eminem's depression is he is a celebrity and a lyricist. If you didn't listen to his music and didn't listen to his interviews, would you even know he went through a period of heavy depression?

So yeah...fuck off.

Right, because you are totally faking your depression after being reminded every fucking time your 2 best friends died, his fucked up family, what he passed during his divorce, and his drug addiction.

everyone deals with it differently, plus im sure you didnt go through half the things he did

Yeah but still, its all he's been talkin about for 2 years ha

Oh yeah, I remember all those interviews where Eminem was asking HIMSELF the same questions over and over and over for two years...oh wait no...those were from other people.

It's not like Eminem has a blog talking about how he's so depressed that he updates every hour. :facepalm2

OP acts like he voluntarily talks about this shit every chance that he gets. He does interviews, they ask him the same old questions, he answers them. All there is to it.

Re: Eminem and his "depression"

I would like to note that thw O.P is an ass, i have delt with depression all of my life, mainly from 06-09, espessially in 08 when i lived with some roomates who fucked my life over so bad and tried to kill me by poisoning my food.

i'm not going to get into the full story about the shit i went thru with my roomates cuz beleive me, it is very long, let's just put it this way, because of them, i spent a night in wal mart during a blizzard when i got off work, i spent 10 nights in jail becuase of shit THEY DID, i almost died TWICE, i ended up with so much stress i lost alot of weight and alot of sleep, but only reason i stayed was cuz i litterally had no other place to go, until i finally did move out, but that year was the peak of my depression.

Eminem raps about his depression because it is his way of dealing with it, same reason for me, when i write, i will write about shit i am dealing with to help me get thru it, i don't give a fuck who hears it, it's not about seeking attention it's about freeing the demons and pain you have.

i have a song i wrote where i basicly rip into every single person that caused my depression, and as i wrote that song, yes, i fuckin cried, not of sadness, but of pure fuckin anger, the song rips teachers who pushed me to the limit, school bullies, ex girlsfriends, backstabbing friends, and my roomates, although i may never put that song on an actual cd, cuz i don't give a fuck who hears it, the fact is, writing about it helped me release all the anger i had.

In eminem's case, it's not a gimmick, i can relate to his music, i lost a friend in 07, she died in a car wreck, although i didn't let it get in the way of the rest of my life, it did damage, same for eminem's situation with proof, now, i can't really relate to his troubles with his mom, me and my parents have no issues, but me and my 16 year old slutty mouthy ass bitch of a sister have our own little problems, and honestly if she died tonight my life would probably not change one bit.

Now about his issues with Kim, fucking shit i can't express how much i can relate to him about that, now, no, i have never been married, but i have been thru up's and down's so many fuckin times with one girl, who i am still dating at the moment, but there are times when i just wanna fuckin walk away and never speak to her again, but i can't, because i am truly in love with her, she has cheated on me twice in the 11 years that i have known her, but yet i can't just let go of her, 11 years is a real long time to have certin feelings for another, it took alot for me to get the guts to take her back, but still, sometimes i do go thru depression, although not as much, like i said, 08 was the peak of my depression, 09 got alot better, 2010 my depression has just about left, but i am bi-polar so it does come back, but i get thru it by writing music, thats an artist's way of getting away from personal demons.

so to the O.P, don't ever question somebody about depression unless you yourself have actually delt with it, i'v been thru hell and back and i doubt half the people on this forum know what it's like to get so depressed you note the time a train passes thru, and start walking towards those tracks when you know th train is on it's way, and ii doubt half the ppl here have ever been to jail and felt relaxed and safe from the fucked up people that live outside of the jail, and actually were happy there because you know nobody is going to poison your food, or leave you in the middle of nowhere durring a fucking blizzard.

People just hating on a player cause their lives are so "Perfect" like going out to clubs, getting drunk, fucking anything that moves and being a tool of the human race.
Screw the masses.

Dude above me sounds intelligent enough to make this thread lockable.
And if people don't think depression is a real thing, then why the fuck am I
still making music?
It's like therapy to me dealing with this pathetic world, people like the OP and also how fucked up everything is.
Eminem doesn't bung on anything; Its reality rap.
It's what people think but won't say!

And the people that don't think what they say; Fail in life.
Vice versa saying before thinking.

Fuck! Some people man. Getting a nose bleed at the stupidity.

so there you have it O.P, 2 seperate identity's who have LIVED depression, where music is one of the best ways to express it

let me give you an exampole, if i wasn't writing music, i would probably be dead right now, not from suicide, but from police killing me, OR, in jail, sitting on death row, music can save more than one person man, trust me, if i didn't write music, i would probably lose my fucking mind and truly hurt some people, and i guarantee you that if you ask 6 out of 10 music artist's why they write, they would probably say the same thing.

it's not a gimmick, it's a life some of us live and deal with, don't ever take it as a joke dude, you might piss off the wrong person and that aint somethin you wanna do, you never want to piss off a demented depressed individual cuz then....well, it's unexplainable, but whatever, you got your life, we got ours.

P.S maybe you'll understand my user name a little better now, i wasn't honering the book or movie or whatever, my username is me lol, i truly do have 2 sides

I got 2 sides. Someone who is gonna relocate somebody's spine into his colon and then watch their anus relax to shit it out again,
And the guy that's sitting here typing this post while waiting for the laundry to dry.
Like em says; "There's a little slim shady in all of us".
You know I probably would of took my own life if it wasn't for rap music; Actually music in general.

Because listening to peoples intelligence made me rise up from the slum town I lived in and started collabing with other artists instead for those sad cunts at deadcliffe.
Seriously I think I snapped around February last year when I got fired from burger king/hungry jacks.
That was the point I stopped giving a fuck more then I did already, woke up from what I was and became smarter trying to turn my life around instead of trying to fit in with those tools.

Didn't wanna end up like all those fucken stupid dickheads that always gave me shit thinking they were so good.
I know a lot of people say to me that I'm just a cry baby and maybe they are right.
All my life I've taken shit; And now I'm gonna start dishing it out.
Starting with this piece I recorded yesterday!

(Shameless plug ftw?)
Pure anger!

That's slim shady bitches; And that's fucken life!
So deal with it!
K. Back to watching Disney movies for me.
