i got more knowledge of his music then nas (whom i think is right up there from what i heard from him)

kanye is an artist,he cant be catagorized as just a "rapper" cuz rap is his weak point.

Sorry but Lupe Fiasco,B.O.B and even Kanye and 50(at this point both) have no business to mentioned in the same category with Jay-Z and Nas.
I'm not a big fan of Jay-Z but he is a legend and a GOAT candidate.I'm fan of Nas and he is also a GOAT candidate(Greatest of all time candidate not only alive).
You know there are people who consider Jay-Z or Nas as their #1 GOAT in Hip-Hop.
Jay-Z and Nas objective are in the same level with Eminem,Rakim,Tupac,Biggie,Βig Daddy Kane,Andre 3000..In the discussion for the GOAT!

I disagree with both of these. IMO Kanye should have stayed rapping. College dropout up through late registration were all great. His new music is garbage and his weak point IMO.

As far as bob goes, it is too early...not too late.

From the choices on your list I think lyrically, nas is better. Commercially, Hov has it. I like both but love neither.

speaking of kanye,MBDTF is a sick sick album,he has no bad albums,except that 808 shit which i havent even DLed,but man,kanye aint a good rapper,as in straight spitting,riding beats,flows,punches,multies,he cant do three quarters of those,but he has very very strong things too,his beat making and charima and voice are hell of dope,plus he has a couple of good to great lines in there,just a great artist not a full blown out "rapper" IMO

What shitty and unoriginal choices (Where's Ghostface, Andre, Del Than Funky homosapien, etc.), and smh at people underestimating Lupe. He's arguably the best lyricist out off all in the poll, and even better than Em (lyrically), it's still too early for him though even though I consider his first two albums solid.

If right now and not overall, than it's close between Lupe and Nas (I actually think his latter 3 albums are better than Stillmatic, God's son, and Lost Tapes), but Lupe probably edges it out.

Ghostface and Andre are still scary consistant and can probably make it even now. I mean have you heard of Ghostface's verse on Gihad?
