p90X

No, it's not a rapper. Have any of you guys heard about p90x? It's supposed to be one of the best/fastest ways to get ripped in just 90 days. You can google results and they are pretty shocking. Everyone seems to love this program and vouch for its effectiveness. Have any of you finished it?

It costs around $140 new, but you could probable get it for cheaper from Amazon or Craigslist.

I just started it today and, man, shit was hard but enjoyable and not too boring like other workouts.

P90X is too extreme for beginners, I wouldn't recommend it.

And as Wily said, Scooby FTW! Everything on his site, from great advises to detailed workout programs and videos, is absolutely free. He has helped me a lot.

The 'only 90 days' thing leads people to think it's a breeze, but it seems far from it.

Yeah, it's pretty though, but from what I heard the first 3 weeks are the hardest part and after that the workout definitely becomes much easier.

What I like about p90x is how you do a different kind of workout every day, from chest to back to martial arts like Kenpo. Pretty cool.

Have you tried running? I find running while listening to music to be really relaxing and enjoyable. Also, after a run you can go work out. I'm not sure how much truth is behind these statements, but try doing low weight high reps to tone your muscles, and if you want to get bigger (muscle) do higher weight lower reps. Atleast, thats what I understand.

The biggest thing about lifting, working out, or just getting in shape is to just enjoy it. Listen to music, get a friend to go with you, shoot the shit, lift weights, and let all the hot girls walking around be motivation. Or if you are into men the dudes. If you are into animals there might be some bird in a window or something. Maybe a centipede on the ground if you are lucky.

Good luck man.

100% truth, you will destroy your body if you're a beginner, I did P90 for a bit and the Ab Ripper is KILLER, so I decided to never do it again lol.

Only take the whey protein if you don't have enough time for meals, it's much more simplistic obviously and make sure you're getting your weight in protein (you weigh 140lbs - try to get around 120-140g of protein/day).

Don't skip workouts and if you're cutting make sure to run cardio at least 3-4 times a week for at least 30 min (seriously important!) - Some retards just lift dumbbells and they end up fat with a fat shoulders (their body fat is like 18% :facepalm).
The most important part is your diet, COUNT your calories in the beginning if you don't know how much you're eating. And DON'T cheat (think about this way, what's worth more? Losing the pounds and being one step closer to the 6 pack that'll get you laid and will last for years or that whole minute of eating garbage that tastes awesome)

OH! and STRETCHH before workouts and running, helps SOO much
AND of course BLAST Eminem while working out (been doing it since day one and he hasn't failed me :flutter: - Till I Collapse (pretty much most of TES lol!), No Love, Almost Famous, Won't Back Down, Lose Yourself, Drop the World, You Don't Know - You get the idea.. Motivational and fast paced songs!

I've made my own workout and diet plan, P90X was too time consuming in my opinion but some of the exercises I still do sometimes like the Yoga

And if you lose motivation or desire to workout slap yourself ;)

Cause the shit I hear is crazy
But your either getting lazy or you don't believe in you no more
Seems like your own opinions, not one you can form
Cant make a decision you keep questioning yourself
Second guessing and its almost like your begging for my help
