I think every thing will be digital. Like Steam does with games already. If you know what that is. Music will be the same way too.. and already is heading that way.

Piracy will reign supreme sadly. They would have to take revenue out of sites like tpb and other peer to peer sites to cover their losses.
Like that swedish company sued them for like 2mil.

I got a pessimistic view on the future of retail too lol.
All the kids these days only buy mp3 players.
They would have to make more programs like steam the only way to get games and encourage people to buy stuff by offering them bonuses on purchases.
I buy games I like personally but you know...Some people don't! Dx

Blu-ray is 100% worth the difference. It got me to go back and start watching all my favorite movies again. It's just like experiencing them for the first time again.

We'll be using discs for a while, they were a huge step. I imagine the only step forward is to go completely digital.

probably just digital copies of everything.

look at Xbox promotions. when you pre-order shit what happens? you get a code right? then you take it and enter it online and download your extra shoe or whatever for the game. that'll happen with music and movies too. you'll walk in and see lil cards with bar codes everywhere. they scan your movie and you take the code home and input it into your tv and download the movie.

i would hate for it to come to that but sadly it will probably happen.
