Dexter season 5!!!

Honestly,this was the worst season of Dexter.

Season 3 was the worst. The others are equally great. Loved this season esp. its calmer ending compared to the last one.

Season 3 was way better than this season,This season was full of plotholes,and Dexter himself was dull and Lumen was a horrible charchter.
The Santa murte case was completley forgotten and so was Officer Mazon.

The Finale had horrible writting.
Lol,Quinn doesn't know that Dexter killed Liddy?Pathatic.
And how many times are they gonna do the "Dexter almost getting caught" bs??
Jordon Chase ties up dexter and dexter magically pulls out a huge knife(which by the way jordon somehow wasn't able to notice)?lol

Sure, most of the things you mentioned irritated me too and some of it was really predictable but overall I still enjoyed the story. Season 3 was completely dull. Halfway through the season, I still didn't know what the main plot was. At the end of the season, I realized I just watched a whole season of an innocent dude being turned into a monster by the show's writers just to justify Dexter killing him since he knows what Dexter really is. I don't remember the season properly but I do remember I was really disappointed.

Yeah,It was great,they had great chemistry toghter,unlike with Lumen.

I thought season 5 was supposed to be the final season ever? I enjoyed this season. But i think the perfect finale to Dexter was last season(season 4) could have ended the show right there with his son experiencing what he experienced as a boy etc allowing the audience to assume he will follow the same path as his father. I have a feeling Dexter will now turn into another American show where they suck the money out of it until all the original fans lose interest. Similar to what happened with Lost and Prison Break. I think writing season 6 will be difficult as they have covered everything possible?

I agree with another poster here(RKOunion) although i did enjoy Season 5 more than 3. Guess it is a matter of taste. In terms of my imagination being limited i guess your vast imagination can enjoy another season of Debra always crying about something, the story lines becoming predictable, hey don't get me wrong not attacking you it is still entertaining just it makes me cringe more and more such as the coincidences which are conveniently placed due to the writers being lazy(Dexter grabbing the knife on the finale, the blood dropping on Quinn's foot etc). Top it off with a bunch of filler/ sub plots from Batista & La whats her name romance, in season 3 Miguel's family problems, Deb discovering her father's sex life through those CI files and that neighbor kissing Rita last season etc etc. All done to drag the season on until Dexter NEARLY gets caught in the finale but gets away. Like i said i enjoyed this season and like Dexter but i can only see them milking the show from here on.

Exactly. I agree that Miguel-Dexter was better than Lumen-Dexter but Season 3 had way more fillers than this one.

still loved it but i can see the series lose monemtum. It's all been done now. I would like to see Dexter shaken up a bit more for S6. He should've got solely caught in the finale and then be on the run cos they've done it all now except for this route

The same things do seem to have to keep happening. Dexter almost gets caught and barely gets away. It's happened two or three times.

Never knew there were so many Dexter fans on this site. Though I can see the resemblance between Dexter and Eminem.
