Merhh i dunno..

When Em was good, he was better than Wayne's good.

When Wayne was bad, he was noooooo way as bad as Em got.

But Em has covered more bases, love 6'7" though, showing Em how you do those punchlines properly haha

Btw, it's my opinion, and i'm going to bed now, so no one bother arguing with me for once.. I know a lot of you hate Wayne :flower:

Hope the leaks are up for everyone soon.
My Top 5 (in no order)-

Wayne's got almost as much if not equal charisma. I'll give him that.

Lil Wayne vs Eminem? what kind of dumb ass poll is that. Can you guys tell me why this Lil Wayne guy attracts so many fans? In Em's prime he was arguably the best lyricist who ever graced the mic and now they are comparing with such a watered-down rapper? Eminem was not just a rapper but a true musician, he belongs in the discussion with MJ, Prince, Bob Dylan etc..... When Lil Wayne makes a song like Stan or Lose Yourself you can call me back....

I can't stand this comparison, it's pointless.

Because his first 2 editions of Tha Carter series were close to classic (i've personally always called the second a classic). He fell off but still got success in the third, then let the syrup take over and came with autotune/rock trash. But now he's back with the fourth installment, and the first single is back to his best (some may find the beat annoying, but the sample is genius, and his lyrics show why he's so well regarded for what he does)

The '2 great albums, a crap one with success, utter shite amidst problems, then a comeback' is very similar to Em.

Don't get me wrong, i think Em is better, but Wayne deserves respect for a lot of his discography.

This isn't to argue or 'prove people wrong', you just asked, and i thought you'd want to know why i honestly think he gets fans :y:

Amadeo wrote:Lil Wayne has been doing the same predictable boring punch lines since Tha Carter 2. Weak metaphors where he thinks of an idiom/phrase and literalizes it. Been fooling his fans for years.

You can see some of it on his latest song 6'7, the same old metaphors:

To lose one's mind:
Fuck the world
Life's a bitch
Chasing paper
The fruits of my labor
Get the picture

Huge fucking :facepalm @ "I got through that sentence like a subject and a predicate." Subjects and predicates don't even go through sentences, so that pun really sucked. It's a shame he didn't die in jail.

jumped in a wishing well, now wish me well
tell 'em kiss my ass, call it kiss and tell

:facepalm :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm

Don't even get me started on his content. ALL he seems to talk about:

Fuck haters
I have swag
I get paper
Young Money runs shit

He does this EVERY album... it's so tired.
:y: Don't know why people are so foolish and make this comparison, Em might not be as great as he was back in the day but he would still bury Lil Wayne into the ground.

Don't ever in your life compare C1 & C2 with SSLP, MMLP & TES. It's not even fair. Those three stomp on both of them. The only album Eminem has that isn't better than every Lil Wayne album is Encore. Relapse & Recovery > Every single Wayne album & mixtape.
