I figured we should be getting this song soon. So we should have a thread about it to discuss our feelings on it since many people have mixed feelings about it being leaked.
Heres the info we know about it so far:

- About Proof (Duh)
- Complete Opposite of "Your Never Over"
- No Hook
- 3 Verses (2nd and 3rd are very sad)
- Recorded during his serious drug issues

Koolo's description of it:

"He honestly sounds like he's still in the phase he was talking about during Going Through Changes...as if he's about to pop a handful of pills as soon as he finishes performing each verse (there is no hook, not a complete one anyway, it's unfinished). The beat is incredibly simple, slow drums and piano-driven but works perfectly for a Proof song. As Difficult (assuming that's the title) simply sounds like a man who's destroyed. There's no sense that he's even begun to come with terms with the death yet; it sounds like he went straight to the studio to record this directly after Proof's funeral."

What are you guy's thoughts on the song so far? I would love to hear it but i understand it's really personal for Em but he wouldn't have recorded it if he didn't intend for anyone to hear it.

I would love to hear this song. Maybe I'm being selfish, but I think hearing Eminem sounding so vulnerable would be make a really great song. You're Never Over is more about celebrating Proof's life and, although it is sad, it's also more positive, hence "You may be gone, but you're never over." I guess hearing the other side, the sadder side, would probably just impact me more.

I really enjoy deep and emotional Em songs, hes good at making them and this would be his best.

Couldn't agree more. 100% agreed.

His emotional songs like Mockingbird and when I'm gone are straight from his heart and not his mind.

Those songs are the best.

Yeah but I want to hear a depressing song.

I really want to hear it. I don't think it can really hurt eminem in any way if he went as far as recording it. I mean, if Em himself came out and said that he really didn't want anyone to hear it, and that it meant alot to him, I would prefer it not being leaked, cause I would respsect that. But yeah, if it leaks I'm listening to it.

If the lyric bits we've seen are legit, it's probably not the best song lyrically. But if it's as filled with emotion as those who have claimed to have heard it says, I think it could be a very interesting song. I also like the fact that it doesn't have a hook, just a few seconds of silence inbetween the verses. So yeah, I'm really excited about this, and I think it can be a really interesting song. I think the word interesting describes my feelings around it very well. I don't think it's a song I'll listen to often, but I really want to hear it though.

I wouldnt say its Proof(no pun intended either)but its probably the reason he never released one of the other songs he made as tributes
