I just don't know how to describe this song - obviously it's completely different from anything else from him we've heard. We've heard emotional tracks, and tracks where he's channelling emotion and probably remembering stuff to get in the right mindspace to record, but this is obviously on another level entirely.

It might make a huge splash in the music community - does anyone know of a similar song from another artist, something very personal that was probably never meant to be heard?

That's a powerful song :\
but a great tribute to Proof, it has sad points and funny points like the jacket and sitting across from each other in cells laughing and tells stories which brings you into the friendship they had/have. I love it and can't wait for it to be mastered with a hook.

Yeah it is sad,that's true...it's unbelivably sad...but picture it this way,there are a lots of people who lost their best friends too,no matter how they died...and it's kinda strenght-givin' or whatever when you hear your favorite rapper dealin' with the same shit,listenin' to him and rememberin' how hard it was for you to lose someone....this song brought up a lot of memories of my late best friend that I couldn't think of before...so it's not so bad to hear it as it maybe seems to someone...
