I'm just wondering what people consider em's best songs, because my favourites are 'we as americans' 'difficult' and 'seduction' but i wanna know what you guys think are his best songs.

(there may be one or two i missed but those three are the ones i instantly think of)

I really don't know, I have so many favorites. I'll say Lose Yourself, though, despite how cliche it sounds of me to say that but it's his most important song. That song will forever be a huge part of hip hop

There's no such thing as a plain 'best' as...

Songs have different aims and reasons for existing.

It would be bizarre to say "I'm Shady" isn't as 'good' as "Stan" as, it's not pretending to be lmao. Eminem wasn't aiming for the same artistic goal(s) when he created that song. Some songs are purposely lyrical for their own sake, some are to impress / some to shock; some to amaze, some to disgust, some songs to get high to and some to release anger to...

So I mean, maybe if you said, what's his best... storytelling song, that would be a little easier and more logical to debate or even talk about in the right sense.

You could also maybe say like, what's his most artistically valid song, or, what's his most 'relatable' song. But, just in plain 'best', it's pretty much unanswerable.I suppose more broadly you're just asking for, a basic / personal list of our favourite Em songs though, these are some of mine...

Lose Yourself is always going to be up there, just because of how incredible that song is and how universal it is. Everyone can relate to that song. There are so many great songs, though, it's hard to choose just one. I also like When I'm Gone. That song is incredibly touching to me. I don't have an all time favorite though. It mostly just depends on my mood.
