I'm sort of religious and I'm not going to disagree. I think overall that may be true, but I guess it's how you define intelligence. Plus which group is general more happy, I'd say the religious. The only ones that are stupid are the ones who don't think and just do as they're told.

Blind religion is stupid, like the people who believe the earth is like 2000 years old.

I'm fairly religious (believe in god, christianity and whatnot) yet I believe in evolution and basically everything else science has proven. I think the Pope just acknowledged evolution could be true, that's a huge step.

My dad runs an entire section of the hospital he works at, my brother is going into radiology and the other is going into surgery. Yeah...they sound pretty stupid to me.

No offense but I know some pretty stupid people in medicine. It's really dedication more than actual intelligence. I'm sure your family isn't stupid though but statistically they should be.

Let me know where you live so I can be sure to never see a doctor from there. I know a ton of people in/studying for medical careers and all are intelligent at a minimum, many brilliant.

Everyone I consider stupid in medicine is/was a good student but I don't equate that to intelligence. I mean one chick is generally stupid. I would never let her operate on me.

The research and its findings are quite amusing. If you ask for my opinion. I'll say it only holds for people who follow religion blindly without realizing its essence. And unfortunately more percentage of people fall into this category based on which the conducted research may be correct to some extent.

I've met people who are highly educated but still having so fanatic religious views. Well, I think Education and Religion are two different things and now its high time that we should educate ourselves in religion to truly get the essential knowledge about life and benefited from it.

Naaaaah. The difference is - all religious people are dumb, cuz they are getting fooled. Everyone who thinks that god is existing is dumb. Everyone who thinks that there is another life after death is dumb.
