Thing is if £24 buys Darren Bent then £50 mil is sadly not a bad deal. Like Lello said, Real madrid (and city) have changed the times really. But in this current time it cant be seen as extortionate sadly. Well, not in football terms anyhow. Realistically though not even Messi is worth £50 Mil BUT with the money in football at the mo he probly would currently go for over £100 mil

I don't even know how any owner can give that amount of money for a player. That's literally insane.
