HELP ME FIND THIS SONG/ARTIST/VIDEO!!!

OK, I know I'm not giving many details, but 10,000 internets to whoever helps me out.
What i know from the video:

-girl singer
-vid is from the past year or so, it was played on MTV a lot
-the singer looked indian (dot, not tomahawk) maybe? wearing a green dress, had black nicki minaj style short bangs
-it was kinda indie, kinda pop
-the singer's name may have started with M
-the beat was very catchy, kinda up and down
-it showed the singer getting in/falling out of a fake looking boat with fake looking waves, maybe made of cardboard?

I doubt this is enough, but hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about...
