Skins US

Weirdest shit i saw whilst downloading.

Anyone from U.S watch this? It's not so much a remake as it is a tribute act and everything is the same, except they changed Sid's name. Basically, same plotline, characters, relationships/elements form UK Skins season 1. Don't know what to feel about it, especially knowing what's going to happen.

On a side note, anyone bothering with UK Skins season 5?

From UK, but saw a trailer for US one, wasnt interested since its the same.
Saw series 5, not good :facepalm shows gone downhill, its not too bad but i just wont bother with it anymore.

Another side note: I hear US has version of Shameless, anyone say US version of it? Is it the same characters and plots? Has it started yet, and any good?

I watched the first episode of the US version when it aired. It was ok but kinda weird. Watched the first two episodes of season one of the UK version yesterday. UK Version >>>>>>>>>> US Version.

Yeah, I watched the US version when it aired too. I didn't really like it.

I have netflix though, and I'm pretty sure the UK version is on the demand videos or whatever you call it. I was thinking of seeing if I like the UK version better. You liked UK more?

I only watched the first episode. It seemed a little weird to me, almost pointless. It seemed like MTV was only trying to be controversial and didn't bother at all with personality or plot lines.
