What do you think happens when you die?

This question reminds me of an interview I read of Mary-Louise Parker (from the show Weeds):

I believe in God. I pray every night. And I believe in Heaven. I'm not going to lie though, there have been times when I've doubted. My Aunt passed away from juvenile diabetes almost 3 years ago now and she suffered so much because of her disease. So there was so many times that I said "if there really is a God why is He making her suffer like this?" But at the end of the day, I like to think my Aunt is in Heaven watching over me.

I was born into a Catholic family but I have my own beliefs that aren't completely Catholic ideas. (Considering I took two classes of Sunday school and never went again)

I believe that when you die, one of two things happen... Either one, you get reincarnated, or two, you sit in a static void for all of eternity. I DO believe in God though but I do not believe in hell or the Devil. But although I believe in God, I only believe he does things you ask for in a time of need when you're alive. Otherwise, I don't have much faith in him. Matter of fact, I rarely even do the "asking God for help" thing as it is because I have so little faith. Basically, I don't even have my religion straight, but I don't really put much thought into it for now because I have YEARS and YEARS before I have to worry about dying, as long as I live a normal life.

It will be like how it was before you where born, but people will move on with their lives yeah they will still miss you but they will move on.

I think when you die your just died in the ground, you don't go to Heaven or Hell i'm not saying I don't believe in Heaven or Hell or I don't believe in God but your body will still be in the ground rotting & life will just be moving on each day like how it would be when you where living.

I mean, I really don't give a shit either way. Believe what you want, just don't be a fuck about it. For example, yesterday I was playing COD and was toaly pwnin n00bs in the chopper gunner, then get shot down, OK. NOT A BIG FUCKING DEAL. I grit my teeth and carry on with the game. Take two steps out of the building I was hiding in and stepped on a claymore. ........ why the fuck was a claymore sitting on the outside of a fucking building? So many reasons this is tactically a stupid thing to do, but whatever, I'm the iQ, i fuck kids up. Moving on, I respawn, and get fucking spawn killed with some dumbass using a sniper (not the L). And this is when I screamed at the top of my lungs the phrase that put me on the spot on my floor. "I am going to punch a hole through Jesus."

Granted, it was a slip of the tongue, never before have I ever constructed or stated a phrase like this. What is Jesus doing as the object of this preposition? I had no clue, it was spontaneous, it was sporadic, it was wrong. Immediately after two girls that overheard my raging came in to bitch at me, I can't say that, whatever. Get a sense of humor, my friends on XBL were laughing their asses off, and you dirty little sluts took a minute from sucking dick to tell me what I said was wrong?

I believe in Heaven and Hell, but not as complicated as Guta lol. If you are a well meaning person who is sorry for their sons, and you love God you get to heaven. And I think no matter how bad your life is, God will give you a chance when being judged to ask for forgiveness.

As a Catholic it is a legitimate belief to believe that Hell is empty, and I'm gonna stick to that

There are some things I don't get about Catholics, this is something I REALLY don't get. Mind you, I was raised a Catholic.

The last thing I would do after the end of my miserable existence on earth would be to ask for forgiveness from the god that granted it to me. AND I have to love him? Makes no sense, I didn't ask for life, I just am. I don't owe him anything. In fact, why the fuck does he even want me to ask for forgiveness, or love him? Why is god so insecure? Because god didn't create us in his image, we created him in ours. Our "perfect" deity displays weaknesses found in man. He is a quick tempered, imperfect, unreasonable......and so on, and so on.

However, I don't think poorly of the average church-goer's intentions. Like my parents, I believe many of them are good natured people that just have people they love far too much to be able to accept them go for all eternity. . .

One last thing-

When we die we go back and relive all the choices we made, unknowingly of course, and go down that alternate path. This happens over and over again infinitely.
