I know some people love Arcade Fire, but isn't this their first year even being nominated? If not, then it's only the second or third, right? Eminem has been a huge icon in music for 10 years! He literally dominated 2010. Recovery was everywhere. How does that not deserve an album of the year Grammy? Arcade Fire may be okay, but did you see them everywhere on TV? Did you hear their songs played constantly on the radio? Em deserved Album of the Year. Only good I can say is that we know he didn't expect to win, so at least he wasn't disappointed. He probably knew the Grammys would screw him over.

I have never heard of arcade fire. If they were any good (which by their performances last night they sound like every other rock band) i would have heard of them before. With that being said, i believe that there still is a discrimination towards the hiphop genre from the academy. I would have rather seen Katy Perry or Gaga take that award home then some weird punk ass dudes that wear makeup.

Arcade Fire's album beat out Recovery for Album Of The Year. I hear all of you whining about how Em got robbed, but have any of you actually listened to Arcade Fire? I feel like most of the posts on here are very ignorant. Arcade Fire is one of the most innovative bands doing it right now, incredible lyrics and album quality. Neon Bible (their previous album) is one of my favorites,any genre, of the past decade.

And just FYI, I too think Em should have won. I'm just intelligent enough to not write off Arcade Fire and go on a "Em got robbed!" rant.

A lot of us aren't writing them off, I've just never heard them and I think Recovery should have won. Not a big deal. I personally did not like the music, judging from their performance

never heard of them before the nominations, never heard their music (unless I did on the radio and didnt know who it was)...so yeah fuck that.

I think in general we are all just pissed that em has been screwed AGAIN, more so than that he lost this year...not to mention how popular (sales, charting, singles, etc.) he has been with recovery
