The first two verses of this song are undeniably better than anything on Encore.

1st & 2nd verses aren't as good but they hold their own.

Really not feeling the chorus though. I'd still say this is better than On Fire though, because I'm not feeling that chorus either. Fuck no @ Seduction though. I'd say this is better than 30% of Recovery including the shitty hooks I don't like and Wayne's verse.

My Dad's Gone Crazy is amazing IMO. I love the funny vibe it gets because of Hailie.
I agree that the third verse is the best though, but not only because of the lyrics, but that sudden drop in the beat that makes it sound like a much more serious song. That "switch" still gives me chills sometimes. And pluss the fact that it's an amazing verse!

IMO, MDGC's beat > All the beats on Recovery (I'm not hating! Recovery is a great album, and some of the beats are pretty good, they're just not my style)
Other than that, I agree that some Recovery songs are better than MDGC in certain aspects. But if MDGC was on Recovery, it would easily be one of my top 3 favourites from that album, mostly because of the vibe and feel of it.

And unlike alot of people, I love the chours, and find it pretty damn catchy And chorus wise, Recovery is probably my least favourite Em album.

So yeah, in some way I guess I agree with the thread title.

I like My Dad's Gone Crazy, but mainly for the 3rd verse. The 3rd verse > Recovery, but I don't think the song as a whole is better than Recovery...it's better than some of the Rec. songs, though
