I think he does punching in, punching in is were you record 2 or 4 lines and then stop, then you record the next 2 or 4 ect...

Or they take the breaths out during the mixing progress :happy:

Sometimes you can hear really subtle volume-reduced breaths in the background and other times you can tell he took a breath but just edited it out.

Yeah, one of his worst performances of that song. He still did good, but you can tell he was about to run out of breath at times. Ironically, Dre fucking killed his verse though

I remember watching Em for one performance, and he moves his mic away from his mouth when he takes a breath, he does it in a mid/right to left motion :y: haven't seen him do it since though, also he tilts the mic so that it doesn't pick up the breaths as much :whistle:

The reason you can hear the breathes so much in Lose Yourself is because each verse was recorded in one take

So I guess that shows that nowadays, he doesnt do them in one take, or he does and just edits it real well
