1. He has compromised his artistic integrity to gain radio airplay for love the way you lie which was just for sales he even thanked rihanna for helping album sell so well. Old eminem would not care or do this.
2. Out of no where he starts doing commercials when he always refused. Nothing like old em.
3. Started working with people for money lil wayne (Clearly he sucks no one has balls to say it in main stream hip-hop)
1. I don't agree that this was a sell-out move because Rihanna was on there for a real reason. Eminem admitted that because he knows it's true. But this was said after he already made the song. He knows it's a huge hit, he'd be an idiot not to. Love The Way You Lie was made to be a hit, but that's not selling out. That's smart-thinking, especially if he wants to stay relevant these days, with all these fucking bubble-gum rappers. At least Em hasn't dumbed himself down for anyone. You can argue that his lyrics these days aren't as good as they once were, but in no way has he compromised himself in his songs. No matter who is on the hook
2. The Chrysler commercial was more for Detroit than it was for himself. The Lipton commercial, Eminem didn't dumb (for lack of a better way to put it) himself down for that, neither. He stayed true to himself and even wrote his own script for it. Plus, it's worth noting that he accepted the commercials for a lot less than what was offered. Commercials make me uneasy, but I'm not gonna start pointing fingers yet
3. He worked with Lil Wayne because 1) he likes Wayne and 2) Em was on Wayne's album, so he probably figured it was only right to include Wayne on his. And they actually produced a good song. I don't give a fuck who he works with (obviously not someone like Beiber or Katy Perry), as long as the music is good, that's all that matters. I don't see a rapper's name and automatically assume the song will be trash. It's good to have an open mind when it comes to music
4. Any Eminem fan knows he changes his style for every album
So, I do not agree that he's a sell-out. But I respect your opinion and I hope you respect mine
