Why would he say that when he was in his drug period lol? His rhyming was also a lot better than any of the stuff from his drug era.

Agreed. That's exactly what I logged in to say. My Darling was intended for Relapse. It's about Eminem fighting his inner demon (Slim Shady) and understanding that he and and Shady are one person. It shows growth and maturity, something Eminem lacked during his drug era. I highly doubt this was intended for King Mathers and would have been a great #2 track to follow Dr. West, especially with the whole 'Marshall, My Darling' pill voice at the end of the skit. This was definitely intended to be on Relapse.

I also believe Careful What You Wish For was recorded during the Relapse sessions. From the quality and message it just seems like it was intended to be part of the album at one point but was later decided to be a bonus track. Kind of like My Darling. Both were 2 really good tracks but for some reason weren't included on the album.

Which song in Relapse sounds like no other in the album???
Beautiful!! And becouse it's not recorded in the Relapse sessions!!!
The same thing goes to My Darling!!! Yeah maybe he wrote the song off the drugs but is def. not for Relapse. He said by himself that the first songs that he wrote when he went to the Relapse concept were My Mom, Must Be The Ganja, etc. not My Darling or CWYWF!!! Look at the flow, the lyrics, the vouce, even the beat!! It's so non-Relapse!!!!
And a big facepalme about that CWYWF was recorded during the Relapse sessions.
"Divorce, re-married
A felon
A father
Sleeping pill addict"
The lyrics, the flow, the beat, the tone, the voice and everythink else show that this song is from King Mathers, not from Relapse!!!
I don't know why the ppl think these songs are for Relapse but they're totaly wrong. Yeah maybe the concept of My Darling fits like a open song for Relapse but that's all!!!!
And only one think!!! He didn't start recorded Relapse right after he get clean, so if he did some song sober that doesn't mean it's for Relapse!!!!
