have judged it as a song. There have already been debates about this.
This thread starting from page 2 has a very in-depth discussion about it. Nobody except an idiot is trying to say the song sucks because everybody likes it; think about what you're saying for a second, this is fucking Eminem. He's not some underground rapper; pretty much every song we know by him has been heard by millions of people, and that's without even going into his singles which have sold fucking massive amounts. So the idea that people would choose to dislike just LTWYL because it's popular is redundant, or else we'd say the same about any other popular song by him, which he has fucking plenty of.
Then why is the fact that "mainstream fans" loved the song and think it's one of his best and what not always brought? It's fucking obvious. Only an idiot (you) is blind enough to not SEE that people cross it out because of that reason. Sure, they might complain about some other shit but at the end of the day people put the song down because of
EXTERNAL REASONS. Eminem has had few single as popular as LTWYL, but it's not just that. It's because the song is dealing with a subject matter of love AND because retards (you) think Rihanna is there
ONLY for selling records, that's pretty fucking stupid.
Kez wrote:And it's not because stupid girls play LTWYL, because like i said, it's Eminem. He's probably the only rap act any of them have ever listened to, cause he's white and marketable. Even We Made You got listened to by girls I know. This is a man who is so popular that he can fuck off for 4 years, come back and rap about digesting fetuses and sell a fucking million copies. So this is not a new idea. It's not just a coincidence that some people here have grown somewhat unsatisfied with LTWYL and (if we're getting into this) Not Afraid, and some of his recent stuff.
If stupid girls playing LTWYL is NOT a problem THEN WHY THE FUCK IS IT
ALWAYS BROUGHT UP? And no, girls don't play We Made You as much as LTWYL. Wanna know why? Because LTWYL is about LOVE. I haven't seen, heard, heard a female bumping 3 AM or Old Time's Sake in my life so no. If those songs had to do with love then yes it could happen.
It'll be a back and forth of people giving their opinions and you telling them they are wrong and trying to disprove them, ending in a lock when a bunch of retards get asshurt and flame each other.
I'm not a fucking campaign...wtf. I'm just asking for people to look LTWYL as it is...a fucking song. Judge it as a song. Forget the fact that its successful as fuck. Look at it like a fucking normal track and rate it, analyze it...whatever. If you just do that even if it ends up with a 2/10 then fine, you back up your point with more than just "Rihanna is there to sell!!!!" or "it's too successful and commercial!!!".
Kez wrote:But like i say, if any of you want to read a discussion about LTWYL then seriously check out the thread I linked, some of the posts are pretty damn long and they're certainly more insightful than any that could amount from this thread.
If people continue to ignore my OP and attack me for trying to make people judge this fucking SONG as a SONG then yeah this thread isn't gonna amount to shit.
