I already judged it "as a song", if you check the link i posted i spent fucking 5 pages writing long ass posts dissecting why i don't like it (as some did saying why they do like it, hence why it's such a good thread, it evens out), and many agreed with me. I aint repeating that, especially not when you won't accept it as valid in the first place.
If stupid girls playing LTWYL is NOT a problem THEN WHY THE FUCK IS IT ALWAYS BROUGHT UP? And no, girls don't play We Made You as much as LTWYL. Wanna know why? Because LTWYL is about LOVE. I haven't seen, heard, heard a female bumping 3 AM or Old Time's Sake in my life so no. If those songs had to do with love then yes it could happen.

Before anyone has barely posted you're already trying to make out peoples' reasons for not liking the song are somehow incorrect and invalid. Plus, you are clearly the type to be like "omg Eminem is the best fuck u the song is great", and obviously the only reason you made this thread is so you could tell people why they are somehow wrong for not liking the song.
I said "JUDGE IT AS A SONG". Why teh fuck does it matter if 500,000 girls per square fucking mile like the song? If the song gets major apraissal once it's leaked but after it becomes a single loved by teeny-bopper girls suddenly it sucks then you're crossing the song out because of external reasons.
@xnoxious, you're bipolar. You said, at first Relapse > Recovery then you're bipolar, indecicived ass said it's his 4th best, please shut the fuck up.

I also think the reason some fans don't like this is because it doesnt song like a hip hop songs. I like and listen to multiple genres and I think the production on this song is great, but to hiphop heads it probably sucks.
I wouldn't call it Hip Pop, but its more like an awesome combo of country, rap, and pop. This song has great story telling and I see it as a classic.

Nope, but i also don't expect Eminem to pander to that kind of audience when he has 10 years of music behind him and an established audience to stand by him. He's in the rare position that he can make whatever music he wants and still sell and be one of the most popular figures in music. Lady GaGa? She's never gonna make anything except pseudo-intellectual weird shit with lyrics that ultimately mean fuck all. Justin Bieber? He's never gonna make anything past pre-pubescent songs about how much he loves that random girl who's got him in her iTunes library. They can't strafe out of their safety zones, because that's where they make their money and that's what their audience expects. But Em? He came back and did Relapse (which went fucking double Platinum), an album which we all know rocked the boat a little and he filled most of Recovery with lyricism and unique ideas (LTWYL being the exception), which just proves my point. So why pander to this audience? It's not like he needs the attention or the sales. Recovery was the best selling album of 2010, but do you honestly believe that all the girls who only know him for Love The Way You Lie went out and bought it? Of course not! That's like saying I've bought Professor Green's album just because i liked Just Be Good to Green. (Bit random I know but the example works)

What if he was listening to Kim and said "Damn, look how far I've gotten" and got his pen and wrote the opposite to what Kim stands for? Honestly, a song about abusive relationships shouldn't appeal to teeny-bopper girls because it's a controversial, serious issue. But, because Rihanna sings a catchy chorus (doesn't mean that was her purpose on the song) and because Em is rapping about love they fucking like it lmao. We BOTH can't say for sure but there are some possibilities that could've inspired Em to make that song. Em could've EASILY made a club song or a watered down song about love. Key word: watered down.

I do find it annoying when 13 year old girls post the lyrics as their status on FB, and when you ask them what their favorite Eminem song is they say LTWYL or Not Afraid. But that doesn't make me love the songs any less or make me not want to listen to them.Master Chief wrote:MOST teeny-boppers. I do...I'm 20 but I started listening to Em when I was 12. While all my friends were listening to 'N Sync I was listening to Em.

Rihanna's purpose on the song was clearly to sell, because as i said Skylar Grey did it first and sent it to Em. And don't try and suggest Rihanna was chosen because Rihanna can sing better than Skylar cause that's just fuckin stupid and you know it isn't true lol. As for the origins of the song, who knows you could be right, but the Rihanna side of it was entirely sales orientated, for the reasons above.
And it's my opinion that LTWYL is watered down, but i've been through that shit on the other thread and i really can't be arsed.

Why wouldn't they have just thrown Rihanna on INAD then?
