Tha Carter IV coming May 24, = Great new Em track?

I can't wait for the day this motherfucker stops being considered "the best" by so many dumb asses. Detox deserves to sell more than C4, but it won't. I doubt C4 will outsell Recovery, for some reason. With Em on a track, I'm sure he'd sell more records than I'm thinking he's gonna sell. I hope Em is on a track, to be honest, and not because Em is gonna murder him. But it's because Em always brings his A game when he's rapping with Wayne. All of their collaborations have been great (Forever being debatable).

I like Dre better than Wayne, but I don't see why he deserves to sell more. Love or hate Wayne, you gotta admit he's dedicated to his fans. He could never sell another record in his life and he'd still never have to worry about money. He raps for his fans, constantly giving them new mixtapes when he doesn't need the hype. No other rapper at Wayne's level (popularity wise) puts out the level of free music he does. He also had that Weezy Thanks You website where he would personally correspond with fans while in prison.

Dre on the other hand, has taken over a decade to release his album, pranked us into thinking there was a release date, and has little to no interaction with his fans.

I think it is a definite fact that The Carter IV will outsell Detox, and saying that Detox deserves to sell more is ignorance at its finest. However much you hate Lil Wayne (I think he's dope btw) you cannot discredit his work ethic. His music exemplifes dedication just as much as any rapper out there. Dr. Dre however has not put out an album in 10 years and is constantly delaying his album. So ask yourself, who is better for Hip-Hop?

How do we know CIV will outsell Detox...

Because "I need a doctor" was its first single, and its terrible, so peoples expectations for the album have decreased significantly.

Wayne's a fad? His first album dropped in 99 and went platinum, he's still popular, I guess Em's a fad too then...
Eminem is the only rapper alive right now who can outsell Wayne with a main studio album (not counting stuff like Rebirth or IANAHB).

And yes quality>quantity. Dre has 2 great albums, soon to be three I'm assuming. Wayne has AT LEAST 2 great albums depending on who you ask. He is possibly the hardest working dude in the industry, read his interviews, he barely even goes out and parties like most rappers. He basically lives in his tourbus, which has a built in studio. I'm not a fan of a lot of his stuff, but I'm not going to deny him his earned success.

And many, many people would say CII is great. Songs like Shooter, Hustla Muzik, and Hit Em Up are awesome. It is one of the most listenable albums. CIII is a great album to more mainstream/pop fans, but it also has fantastic meaningful songs. Tie My Hands, Shoot Me Down, and DontGetIt are all amazing. People criticize Wayne for not having enough deep/meaningful songs, go relisten to The Chronic. Dre doesn't say anything more meaningful than anything Wayne has done.

Tie My Hands, Shoot Me Down and DontGetIt are great songs indeed, they are all in my top 10 Wayne songs. And The Chronic is a hands down classic, nothing Wayne can do will touch The Chronic
