Hip-hop is in uncharted territory...never before have their been top MCs over or approaching 40 that were still in the game.

The audience grows with the artist. They could all be around forever just like The Rolling Stones or Bob Dylan.

Why would you retire when you are as popular as Eminem is right now? Like Em said himself, as long as he has got the passion and drive to continue, then he will do so.

I think we'll get at least three more studio albums, and another D12 album before he retires for good (minimum)

I thought about it..

The SSLP
The MMLP

- The Slimshady LP, yeah we know it, was on pair with The Mmlp who was like a mature, angry and even better version of the Sslp. These two goes together.

The Eminem Show
Encore

- The Eminem Show and Encore has the same name concept. When the Eminem show is over, people are asking for an Encore. It's about a scene.

Relapse
Recovery

- He relapsed before he had a recovery. Two albums in a row. He always did that.

My guess is we'll have two more albums.

???
and then something on pair with the first one.

TBH Eminem showed to us all via recovery that he still has it undoubtedly so actually saying that he would stop at 3 albums would be a little under estimating that man's talent.

On the other hand look at Snoop Dogg considering the extent to which he has fallen off he is still releasing new material.

I wish there could be a lot more because I don't want Em to ever stop, but I know that day will come. It'll just be a really sad day for me.
