I've been attracted to buy Adidas or Puma once or twice, but I've always stuck with Nike. Don't care what slaves make them and what inconsistent quality they may have, Nike was what I needed as a kid.

I heard something like this about the companies being brothers but never knew about their Nazi background...

I didn't mean that the holocaust "wasn't a big deal". All I'm saying is that the companies are no longer run by the brothers and it's not like these companies are still supporting the Nazi party or values. I guess I just don't hold the current company today responsible for the values of the founders who are no longer in the picture. Maybe that's the wrong way to look at it, but that's just my opinion.

When I said it's not a big deal I was referring to to the company having a Nazi leader 65 years ago, not the holocaust itself. Certainly the holocaust was a tragedy and I wasn't trying to imply anything different. Sorry if I offended anyone with that post.

I knew they were brothers and Nazis, it's not a big deal though. If you were a German in the 30s and 40s, you were a Nazi, no option. It doesn't mean they were running around tossing Jews in ovens for shits and giggles. The Pope was in the Hitler Youth growing up...
