Ok, so before you go on about "too much contrast", let me point out that I didn't play with the contrast at all, and I'm working on fixing the color weirdness.

Firstly, thanks man, I'm glad you love it. :flower:

Continued: I'm working on 2 at the moment (between a full time job and other non-internet stuff). But, if you want anything specific let me know man, that way I can make sure to cover it in the ones I do post. So far I'm doing the solider signature, and some random effects/layers to achieve a nice background for blending.

Nothing really specific, I'm just interested in general. I took a photoshop class in school last semester and got the basic idea, but nothing too advanced.

Looks good man. If you were going for that outer space/abstract kinda look you did a good job. Like you said you're working on the coloring which is something I could only encourage. I think it would look dope to play with black and white in this piece, but thats just me.
