Your Dream Next-Eminem Album

Postby Satire » Mar 22nd, '11, 11:26

This has been done many times before but I don't give a fuck.

Features: Tech N9ne, Slaughterhouse, Possibly Dr. Dre. That's it.

Delivery/Flow/Voice: The Warning/Forever style

Subject Matter: A semi-conceptual album, similar to "The Cool" by Lupe Fiasco, where there is a theme/story that switches in and out as the album goes along, along with actual just-Eminem songs that spoke on whatever the fuck he feels like speaking on.

Skits: 3-4 skits, including intro/outro, all of which would be based on said "concept".

Lyrical style: Honestly, as long as he stopped the punchlines and went back to his old rhyme scheme I'd be perfectly happy.

Production:
7 Beats by Marshall himself
5 Beats from Dr. Dre
2 Beats from Mr. Porter
1-2 beats w/hooks from Corbett similar to the work he did for Saigon:

If the next Eminem album went exactly like this I'd call it a classic tbh.

Would have to say, more production for bass brothers and more em tracks. No more guest producers like recovery. no more shit with rihanna.

i want to say some tracks with skylar but i think if he did, i think they would be popish songs like LTWYL INAD.

defo bring back dina(track 13 girl)

Also no ft's from lil wayne either. and no yellawolf, or maybe have him on 1 track. id edit the fuck out of it anyways lol.

I would enjoy him making a hardcore album without the accent. Tracks like Til I Collapse and Rabbit Run ish. I would of course want him to ease on the punchlines. Not take them away from his songs, just limit them. The album should be 13 songs with 3 skits (1 at the start, middle and end). I think the lead single should be not necessarly a love song but a very commercial song to create intrest.

As for voice I would really just like any voice that works for the album. I don't care if he shouts, uses accent, nassally voice etc. as long as it works.

For features I think a 50 collab would be great as they make fucking great stuff. My dream collab for Em would be with Lupe Fiasco although I don't think it will happen. Im kinda on the fence about another track with Wayne because as much as I hate him he seems to bring the best out in Em. I would like Liz on a few songs to do the hooks but if she is on the album I don't want the choruses to be like 25 To Life. Her choruses should be like Echo or Almost Famous.

Production wise I would ideally want to have a lot of Bass bros tracks but I doubt that would happen. tbh I wouldn't mind if Just Blaze and DJ Khalif make a few tracks but I want the album to consist of mostly Em and Dre production.

The album should be called Revolution.

i won't disagree with the list of producers you have .. but i'll have to change the features

Features : Tech N9ne , Slaughterhouse , Royce Da 5'9" (alone) , Dr. Dre , 50 Cent & Yelawolf
and girls that do the choruses .. Jazmine Sullivan , Liz Rodriguez , maybe Alicia Keys and Skylar Grey .. thats it

and i would like some songs with the accents .. with story-telling inside .. songs like Stay Wide Awake & Same Song & Dance .. about 3-6 songs of that type
a Horrorcore song (3.A.M-like)
a song when he randomly does punchlines (Just Don't Give A Fuck-like)
some songs with his old lite voice from SSLP + Sing For The Moment days

thats what i would like it to be

No more useless punchlines.More storytelling and the song/lines/verses to actually focus on 1 subject lol.No more hood samples(1-2 are aight but i prefere him on the hook,or D12 or Skylar etc no Akon tho ..lol).
Beats to be made by himself,Dre,Porter or if poss Bass Brothers.
Features:Tech N9ne,Nas,Dre,50,D12,Yela.
Voice:Any voice as long as he doesn't seem to shout or be forced.
Subject:Doesn't really matter as long as he is following a story on each track.
Yep that's it.

Concentration on multies, internal rhyming, flow, and storytelling instead of shock value and punchlines. Production from Dre, Em, and Premo. A song that features both Lupe Fiasco and Nas, one with Dre, one with Royce and that's it. Maybe a conceptual album with the Warning voice.

And oh yeah, no singles, yeah i said it no singles. I hate the little kids that jump on the band wagon and think the singles are the best songs ever. stfu. He doesn't need to go platinum anymore, he needs to prove himself to the hip-hop community.

Because? I thin people are being hard on Lupe, he is still the same artist as the last few years, People just either unaware of the Lasers situation or see it in Black & White.

Lupe isn't the type of artists that "murders" another rapper on a track anyway. I doubt Lupe could/will murder (key word: murder) any above average rapper.

ALOT of Eminem production... saw his discography and was Really Impressed.

Anything SUBSTANTIAL in his subject matter. Just wish he doesnt do horrocore/ "slaughterhouse" type of tracks. Detroit love, criticism of "selling out" backslash, Rihanna warning, address issues with 50, Grammy snubbing bitching, porn-addiction skit etc

Features- Still waiting on that Luda collabo produced by Porter. Busta and Lupe would also be cool. Liz Rodriguez on the Chorus.

12-14 Tracks would be fine by me. Two year wait though... build a bit of mystery.

Lupe is the best one out there right now. Lasers was only bad because of the awful production and hooks. Lupe is nearly as talented as he always was and is fully capable of destroying Em.

There's no way to know that. Eminem can easily drop a Forever/The Warning verse on a track tomorrow and murder Lupe.
