She isn't a good live performer, but who gives a fuck. The important thing is her studio work. And she got a lot of good songs, or you think the radio stations are going nuts for nothing ...

I've actually listened to her work.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :shakehead:

I think radio stations are going nuts for her the same reason they go nuts for OMG, Lolipop, and We R Who We R. Vast, vast, vast majority of her songs are pure shit. No musical value, no lyrical value, no nothing. (Doesnt matter, todays music is ALL about the chorus line :facepalm )

Its worse than the Chris Brown shit, kids just like this because this is the only music they've ever known. (The kids that listen to older music typically have a burning hatred for most of todays radio.) Judging the quality of music is not about opinion. Its safe to say Rihanna is shit, its ok if you like shit but that doesnt make it anything more than shit.

Yeah, it was me.

@Manly Moose

I could write down tons of good Rihanna songs. Like:

Pon De Replay
SOS (Rescue Me)
Unfaithful
We Ride
Don’t Stop The Music
Hate That I Love You
Take A Bow
Only Girl (In the World)

...

Good beats, good productions, good melodies. If you are focussed only to one kind of music genre, it's your thing. Everyone who likes the mainstream, who likes partying likes Rihanna. Fact.

But do what you want, I don't give a fuck.

Rihanna will surpass Em in a handful of weeks. It really doesn't matter because everybody in the top are such powerful icons that they will go up and down depending on who is having a good streak at the time. When the dust settles, and when they pass away I think we know who will be on top ;)
And everything's spinning
You're beginin' to think women
are swimming in pink linen again in the sink
Then in a couple of minutes that bottle of Guinness is finished

Naaah, could be in like 13 weeks, but it's not guaranteed. Who knows if Ri continues like this? Em will increase more after Space Bound.

Em will increase after Spacebound (whenever that is) but what he really needs is songs on the radio. Rihanna might be the person who is doing this better than anyone else right now. She has multiple hits out a time and is constantly in rotation. I'm not saying Em should necessarily do this, but that's a big reason why Ri has so many fans pouring.

We were lucky enough that Not Afraid and Love The Way You Lie had all that attention. I don't know if this will ever happen again. At least not that soon.

Yeah, Not Afraid and Love the Way You Lie did wonders for Em's popularity, but the amazing thing was that they were popular AT THE SAME TIME. And then there was Airplanes too. In the UK all three of those songs were in the top 10 together, so he was massive around that time.

^ Well I took a look at Em's stats. Not too shabby himself. I'm sure he can hold her off for now. But I'm not expecting him to be #1 forever too. We'll see.

C'mon Son!

23rd most followed person in the world, and....

* he doesn't follow a single person
* he tweets like once every couple of months on average
and he most likely doesn't tweet them himself and couldn't give a shit.

Yet he's still almost top 20 most followed in the world.

Plus, Twitter is nothing compared to Facebook. Facebook is more important!

Facebook is the world's 2nd most visited website, Twitter is 9th

Why do you think the #1 top followed person on Twitter has 9 million, whilst the #1 top followed person on Facebook has 32 million.

Rihanna can't even sell concert tickets. How many of those people are actually "fans"? :coffee:

Her being number one would make absolutely NO sense. Em and Gaga are way more popular right now.

Rihanna's picture is nice to look at :flutter:

She knows how to exploit social media unlike Eminem. Let her reap the benefits.

What's going on? Em on #6 today (new fans), while Rihanna only on #69! Like predicted Ri couldn't mantain her rhythm ...
