I know it may be hard for you to understand, but people have different opinions and just because you don't feel the song as much doesn't mean other people won't.

All i know is that Rock Bottom gives me goosebumps and makes the hair on my body stand up. I fucking love the song for the raw emotion and truth and personally it's my favorite song on SSLP along with Still Don't Give A Fuck and 97' Bonnie and Clyde.

Hmm yeah its different songs for different moods. When I was feeling depressed that song was so sick, I think the emotion elevates it for some people, though obviously not for you. Someone thinking Rock Bottom is dope does not make them a Stan though, that's a little silly.

I like it, but like most songs on SSLP I don't listen all that often. Dunno why, but I've never really got into that album like I have with MMLP and TES.

i like the song , i really do , and the first time i heard it i was desperate and i really liked it , but after comparing it to other songs of the album the magic was gone , even when i'm practically living at Rock Bottom , and it IS a great song, but it's NOT the best and that's my whole point of this thread
and no , i did not say that anyone who likes the song is a stan , i'm saying people who don't "partly" agree with me here are being stans , cause most of the people who voted for Rock Bottom did it because of the emotional feeling to it , and they overlooked the whole song and compared it to all the comedy & ordinary tracks that DID have better rhyming + multi's + punchlines + lyrics & overall feeling to it , like SDGAF

Anyway, I think there's a million reasons why people prefer different songs and sometimes breaking it down into rhymes, multis, punchlines, lyrics is doing the songs a disservice. Some songs just connect with people and they may not even know what it is about the song that makes that connection. Complexity doesn't always = the best.
