I know its stupid really lol. None of his recent singles have been certified either in comparison to Australia where he is fully certified and up to date in both albums and singles. Recovery has been eligible for 4x Platinum for a while now so i think its just a matter of time before it gets certified finally now.

It's sold 10.4m in the US (12m including BMG sales) and no more than 23m worldwide.

I thought RIAA based their certifications on shipped albums not soundscanned? Seems weird they wouldnt count those sales.
