Same here. This is the first rapper I've gone through dying, cos of the same reason, I was too young at the time Pac and Biggie died, and same for Bugz. I wasn't even listening to hip hop at that time. But yeah, you do feel like you know them in a way. I always get the feeling of sorrow when I hear about someone losing their life, and for one of my favourite rappers....it's just soo sad

yeah, me too.. when they died i didn't even listen to rap.. i've heard ppl talkin someone died, but i was like "every day someone dies.." - but Proof was one of people who have changed my life in some way with their music.. he was only 31 and he was at some important point in his career - he has just released his album and so on..

I just heard about this today RIGHT NOW. I have been busy and in Aust not many news with Rap. This all sounds so surreal to me right now...But Proof has always been my top 5 rapper. I liked him heaps and it just seems like such a waste coz he has so much future ahead of him....

ya, same for meehz. i didnt kno shit about Biggie or Pac so I didn't really care but this is someone that changed me includin with Em. Proof was a person that made me not giva fuck about shit, laugh at dumb shit that happens, and helped me get through rough timez with hiz songz. i still can't believe he'z gone. Once I found out I thought bac to the Toy Soldiers video. When i watched it wen he was alive i didnt realli think about him actually dieing so it was like nothing but now knowing that thiz shit iz actually true itz so surreal to me.
