SSLP is embarrassing because of all the multi-syllabic rhymes. Every time Eminem does that stupid multiple rhyming thing and I'm with my friends, I cringe and turn bright red out of embarrassment. It's so humiliating. Why did Eminem have to do that? It's sooo stupid. And he did it all the fucking time on that album, which makes it all the more painful to listen to.
MMLP is embarrassing because of that angry, energetic voice and rebellious attitude. It's really lame. Who wants to hear Eminem firing back at his critics and giving his insight on the failures of society? It's really immature and embarrassing. Eminem questions lots of things people say, which is immature and stupid, and refuses to apologize for things people find offensive. Apologizing for being such a homophobe and misogynist is the MATURE thing to do, Marshall. He also uses lots of sarcasm, in both this and SSLP. Sarcasm is a sign of immaturity.
TES is embarrassing because of a combination of the two main things that make SSLP and MMLP embarrassing. All those embarrassing multi-syllabic rhymes and that angry, passionate delivery. It's so tiresome and makes me slouch in my chair and blush.
With Encore, on the other hand, Eminem finally matured. I can play songs like "Mockingbird" and "Like Toy Soldiers" and "Puke" and "Big Weenie" and "Ass Like That" and "Just Lose It" in front of my friends and we can all have a good time! Not to mention Mosh, which gives powerful insight into the bullshit war in Iraq and how Bush was destroying America and trying to take over the world, nawmean?
Relapse was embarrassing because of all those multi-syllabic rhymes and the accent. It's an album even 4th graders laugh at. It's immature and made me wanna stop being an Eminem fan.
Then on Recovery, he came back, and apologized to us for letting us down with Relapse and his first 3 albums. It was amazingg. Songs like "Not Afraid" were inspirational and mature, while songs like "Won't Back Down" were truly courageous and showed that Eminem is rebellious and will take a stand, like he promised on "Not Afraid." Space Bound...what is there to say? It's just amazing. Maybe the most amazing song ever, after Mockingbird. This is by FAR Eminem's best album after Encore and the second least embarrassing.
